Chinese company Colorful has announced the upcoming release of the iGame X870E VULCAN OC V14 motherboard, aimed at enthusiasts. Distinctive features of this model will be an advanced cooling system and support for high-speed DDR5 memory modules.
The new product is based on the AMD X870E chipset (AM5 socket) and is designed in the ATX form factor. It is equipped with 18 + 2 + 2 power phases with DrMOS (110 A) and the proprietary Vulcan cooling system.
The board has two DIMM slots for DDR5 modules (overclocked to 10,000 MT/s), one PCIe 5.0 x16 (for a video card) and one PCIe 4.0 x4, as well as three M.2 slots for SSDs (one PCIe 5.0 x4 and a pair of PCIe 4.0 x4).
Among other features of the board, the manufacturer highlights Wi-Fi Wi-Fi is a type of wireless networking protocol that allows devices to communicate without cords or cables. Wi-Fi is technically an industry term that represents a type of wireless local area network (LAN) protocol based on the 802.11 IEEE network standard. It is the most popular means of communicating data wirelessly, within a fixed location, today. 7 support and a 60-watt USB-C With the continued success of the USB interface, there exists a need to adapt USB technology to serve newer computing platforms and devices as they trend toward smaller, thinner and lighter form-factors. Many of these newer platforms and devices are reaching a point where existing USB receptacles and plugs are inhibiting innovation, especially given the relatively large size and internal volume constraints of the Standard-A and Standard-B versions of USB connectors.. port on the front panel. In addition, the new product has a 5 Gb/s Ethernet port and an ESS ES9219Q DAC. The release date and price of the motherboard will be announced later.
