Chinese telecom operator China Unicom has unveiled an original tablet called the Cloud AI Pad. The model's basic specifications are fairly standard, but the same cannot be said about the software: the new device runs on two operating systems, including a cloud version of Windows. The Cloud AI Pad is equipped with a 12.2-inch IPS  In Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..screen with a resolution of 2160x1440 pixels. The hardware platform of the new device is based on the Unisoc T9100 processor with a built-in NPU (8 TOPS). It has 6 GB of RAMRandom Access Memory (RAM) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processor. and 128 GB of storage.By default, the tablet runs on Android, but by pressing F9 on the included keyboard, the user can switch to the Windows cloud environment. The OS version is not specified, but judging by the promotional materials, it is the good old Windows 10. The tablet's list of features also includes a 13-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, an eSIM module with 5G network support, and an 8000 mAh battery with 18-watt fast charging. The gadget's claimed battery life is up to 10 hours in video playback mode. The Cloud AI Pad is only available in China, and the tablet costs $256. |
