ASUS has added the Tianxuan 7 Pro Max gaming laptop to its lineup. In addition to a large display, the new model is equipped with powerful hardware from AMD and NVIDIA, as well as a decent set of ports.

The ASUS Tianxuan 7 Pro Max's 18-inch IPSIn Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..display features an anti-glare coating, a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, and a brightness of up to 500 nits, supporting a refresh rate of 300 Hz. The panel's response time is 3 ms, and its color gamut covers 100% of the Display P3 standard. Additionally, the screen supports NVIDIA G-SYNC technology.

The laptop is built around a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processor. Depending on the configuration, it comes with 16 or 32 GB of RAMRandom Access Memory (RAM) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processor. and a GeForce RTX 5060, 5070, or 5070 Ti graphics card. The NVMe storage (PCIe 4.0) capacity is 1 TB. The cooling system design includes two fans.

The new model's 90 Wh battery supports fast charging (50% in 30 minutes). The chassis features HDMI 2.1 and Ethernet ports, as well as three USB-A and two USB-CWith the continued success of the USB interface, there exists a need to adapt USB technology to serve newer computing platforms and devices as they trend toward smaller, thinner and lighter form-factors. Many of these newer platforms and devices are reaching a point where existing USB receptacles and plugs are inhibiting innovation, especially given the relatively large size and internal volume constraints of the Standard-A and Standard-B versions of USB connectors.. ports (DisplayPort Alt Mode 2.1 + up to 100W charging).

Among other features, the brand highlights a 180-degree hinge, an RGB-backlit keyboard, and a webcam (1080p) with Windows Hello support. The laptop weighs 2.8 kg, and the chassis is 18.9 mm thick.

The ASUS Tianxuan 7 Pro Max will be available in Chinese retail stores on May 8; the price of the laptop has not yet been announced.
