ASUS has unveiled a new series of ROG Hero 10 gaming laptops, available in both standard and Plus versions. The company has focused not only on powerful hardware but also on effective cooling, designed to handle modern AAA games without throttling. The flagship ROG Hero 10 Plus models are equipped with the top-of-the-line AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor based on the Zen 5 architecture. This chip features 16 cores, 32 threads, a clock speed of up to 5.4 GHz, and an impressive 144 MB of cache. It is paired with a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with 16 GB of GDDR7 memory and a bandwidth of 896 GB/s. Versions with an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 will also be available. The laptops feature the new ROG Celestial Display 2.0 panel. It is a 16-inch screen with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, a 300 Hz refresh rate, and a 3 ms response time. It claims full DCI-P3 coverage, as well as AGLR technology, which reduces glare and reflections by approximately 55%. ASUS has implemented a new cooling system called Ice Canyon Cooling Architecture 3.0. It includes three fans, seven heat pipes, and a circular hot-air exhaust system. Prices for the new laptops have not yet been announced, but they are already available for pre-order in China. |
