At the ROG DAY 2026 event in China, ASUS unveiled its first RAM The kit consists of two 24GB DDR5-6000 modules. It is based on SK Hynix M-die chips, with timings rated at CL26-36-36-76. The manufacturer claims that some ROG motherboards allow the kit to be overclocked to 8000 MT/s, albeit with higher latencies. The memory supports Intel XMP and AMD EXPO profiles, as well as the proprietary ROG Mode. Cooling is handled by massive aluminum heatsinks with Aura Sync RGB lighting. Along with the memory announcement, ASUS launched the ROG Certified Memory Program. Under this program, the company will certify compatible modules from partners, which already include Adata, Corsair, G.SKILL, Kingston, TeamGroup, and other well-known manufacturers. The most controversial aspect of the ROG memory turned out to be the price. In China, a 48GB kit costs 5,999 yuan, or approximately $880. |
