AMD Ryzen 7500X3D compared to other chips in modern games |

The experts at Hardware Unboxed decided to check which AMD X3D processor offers the best value for money. They tested the six-core Ryzen 7500X3D in games, comparing it with the eight-core Ryzen 9800X3D. The tests were conducted in 12 current games, including Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, Space Marine 2, TLOU Part 2 Remastered, and others, at 1080p resolution with medium and high settings. The flagship GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card was used in the tests. At medium settings, the Ryzen 7500X3D was about 17% slower than the Ryzen 9800X3D and 10% weaker than the Ryzen 7800X3D. At the same time, the new chip outperforms the Ryzen 9600X by 9.5% and the Core i5-14600K by 16.5%. At high settings, the 7500X3D lags behind the 9800X3D by 14% and the 7800X3D by 7%. At the same time, it maintains a 9.5% advantage over the Ryzen 9600X and an 11% advantage over the Core i5-14600K. As a result, the Ryzen 7500X3D delivers decent performance in modern games, especially when compared to older models. |
