Following its announcement at CES 2025, Acer has unveiled the Predator Triton 14 AI laptop. The laptop features high-performance hardware and various AI capabilities not only for gaming but also for creative tasks.
The 14-inch OLED OLED technology was invented by Eastman Kodak in the early 1980s. OLED panels are made from organic (carbon based) materials that emit light when electricity is applied through them. Since OLEDs do not require a backlight and filters (unlike LCD displays), they are more efficient, simpler to make, and much thinner. OLEDs have a great picture quality - brilliant colors, fast response rate and a wide viewing angle. OLEDs can also be used to make OLED lighting - thin, efficient and without any bad metals.screen has a resolution of 2880x1800 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a response time of 1 ms, provides 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, and supports touch control. The touchpad, protected by Gorilla Glass, also supports stylus operation.
The Predator Triton 14 AI is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor, complemented by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics. A special graphene pad is used as thermal paste to cool the CPU, improving heat dissipation by 14.5%. The cooling system also includes two sixth-generation AeroBlade metal fans and an evaporative chamber.
For data storage, there is up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM Random Access Memory (RAM) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processor. and a 2 TB SSD. Thanks to Copilot+ support, the laptop offers users a set of intelligent features, such as real-time subtitle translation, AI image generation in Paint, and more.
The Acer Predator Triton 14 AI has a 17.31 mm thick body and weighs 1.6 kg. The laptop is currently available in only one configuration (32 GB + 2 TB) on the company's official website for ?2,999.
