The Acer gaming monitor family has been expanded with the Nitro XV325QKV3 model, which has two interesting features. In addition to bright mini-LED backlighting, the new product is notable for its ability to switch between modes with different combinations of resolution and refresh rate.
The Acer Nitro XV325QKV3 is equipped with a 31.5-inch IPS In Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..panel with 1152 dimming zones and a peak brightness of 1000 cd/m² in HDR HDR stands for High Dynamic Range imaging, and it is an old photography practice recently introduced to cameraphones like the iPhone and some Android devices (or with the use of special apps). mode. There are two operating modes to choose from: 4K @ 160 Hz and 1080p @ 320 Hz.
Among other features, the manufacturer highlights the model's wide color gamut (99% P3 and Adobe RGB) and fast panel response time (from 0.5 ms GtG). The monitor also supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology.
The rear panel features DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The stand allows you to adjust the tilt and height of the screen, as well as rotate it to portrait orientation.
The Acer Nitro XV325QKV3 is priced at $610 in the US.
