Screen type:AMOLED is a display technology used in portable devices like mobile phones. Active-matrix OLED displays provide the same performance as their passive-matrix OLED counterparts, but they consume significantly less power. TFT is one of the best Liquid Cristal Display technologies in terms of image quality and response time. However, it also consumes more power and is more expensive. A liquid-crystal display (LCD) is a flat-panel display or other electronic visual display that uses the light-modulating properties of liquid crystals. Liquid crystals do not emit light directly. LCDs are available to display arbitrary images (as in a general-purpose computer display) or fixed images with low information content, which can be displayed or hidden, such as preset words, digits, and 7-segment displays, as in a digital clock. They use the same basic technology, except that arbitrary images are made up of a large number of small pixels, while other displays have larger elements.

Touch screen type:Capacitive Touch Technology - Capacitive touch screens take advantage of the conductivity of the object to detect location of touch. While they are durable and last for a long time, they can malfunction if they get wet. Their performance is also compromised if a non conductor like a gloved finger presses on the screen. Most smart phones and tablets have capacitive touch screens. Resistive Touch Technology - Resistive touch screens have moving parts. There is an air gap between two layers of transparent material. When the user applies pressure to the outer layer, it touches the inner layer at specific locations. An electric circuit is completed and the location can be determined. Though they are cheaper to build compared to capacitive touch screens, they are also less sensitive and can wear out quickly.
