Upcoming Samsung Galaxy J4 pops up in a benchmark


While everyone is looking forward to the grand unveiling of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ at MWC next week, Samsung is also busy working on other, lower-end smartphones. One such model is the upcoming Galaxy J4, which may launch under the J4 (2018) moniker.

It bears the model number SM-J400, and its existence has been revealed by the Geekbench database. The benchmark run that a prototype was put through helpfully tells us a couple of things about the phone.

It's powered by the Exynos 7570 chipset, an entry-level part announced in 2016.
